Deliveries FAQs
The Deliveries app is used to manage and track deliveries, providing updates on delivery status, customer comments, and team communication.
Yes, you can track the status of a delivery in real-time using the Tracking Number field to monitor the shipment’s location and updates.
Status indicates the current stage of the delivery process, such as Expecting Delivery, Arrived, or Complete.
When defining companies for deliveries, this can be done either when adding a new delivery or while creating a new company. During this setup, you can specify the company's role by selecting the appropriate checkboxes for vendor, customer, or both, depending on your requirements.
Yes, you can link a purchase order directly to a delivery. You can create a record to link in the Purchase Orders app.
To specify a trucking company, select the desired company from the Truck Company field. This field will present a curated list of companies identified as trucking companies within your organization.
To reschedule a delivery, update the Leaving Date and Arrival Date fields within the frontline of a Deliveries record.
To mark a delivery as urgent, you can create and assign a specific type or tag, or use attributes to highlight the urgency. This ensures that urgent deliveries are easily identifiable and prioritized accordingly.
Notifications about delivery status changes, delays, and successful completions can be configured to be sent automatically to selected contacts through the Notifications field.
Currently, you can only assign one driver per delivery in the Driver field. For complex logistics requiring multiple drivers, you may need to create additional records or use attributes for additional information.
