The Instruction Author is the individual responsible for creating and providing the detailed instructions on how to resolve a problem.
The different access levels of a problem are:
Member-based: Available to assigned members who have been given permission to view and edit the problem record.
Public: Visible to everyone within the organization, allowing all users to view the problem record.
To enable notifications for problem progress, click the Settings button in the top right corner and select the option to activate notifications.
NCR (Non-Conformance Report) dispositions refer to the actions taken to address and manage non conforming products or materials.
The stages of a problem's life cycle are:
Draft: The initial stage where the problem is recorded but not yet detailed or assigned for further action.
Analyze: The stage where the problem is examined to identify its root cause and determine appropriate solutions.
Fix: The stage where corrective actions are implemented to address and resolve the problem.
Reinspect: The stage where the solution is reviewed and tested to ensure that the problem has been effectively resolved.
Complete: The stage where the problem is considered resolved and all necessary actions have been taken.
Closed: The final stage where the problem is formally closed, and no further actions are required.
Problems involving non-conforming products or materials are issues where products do not meet their specified requirements or standards. This could include defects, deviations from specifications, or materials that do not meet quality standards. These problems highlighted in an NCR(Non-Conforming Report) require specific dispositions and corrective actions.
You can track the source of a reported problem using the Caused by field within the details of a problem. Here, you can identify and select the entity responsible for causing the problem, if applicable.
